Family head, son arrested after recovery of 3 women’s bodies in Karachi apartment

The Gulshan-e-Iqbal police have arrested two men in the case of three women found dead in an apartment at Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi.

The deceased include a mother, her daughter and daughter-in-law, and a young man, was found unconscious in the apartment.

Following the case, Karachi Police arrested the head of the family and his son.

During questioning, authorities discovered inconsistencies in the accounts provided by the detained men concerning the deaths of the wife, daughter-in-law, and daughter.

The father claimed that the daughter-in-law died around 3:30 a.m., followed by his wife, who passed away while lying on the bed under a blanket. The daughter was later found dead on the sofa.

Investigators also revealed that the son, Yaseen, had ingested 15 sleeping pills in an apparent suicide attempt, which the father reportedly witnessed. Officials noted a considerable time gap between the first and third death. The investigation into the case is ongoing.
