A British diplomat's vehicle struck and injured a police officer in Islamabad on Monday.

The collision took place in front of the Prime Minister's Secretariat when the diplomat's car hit the officer's motorcycle.

The injured officer was transported to Polyclinic Hospital for treatment.

SP Muhammad Tahir of the Islamabad Police Diplomatic Protection Unit visited Constable Amir Dad in the hospital, who was injured in the accident. He wished him a speedy recovery.

Additionally, on Sunday, two Saudi Arabian diplomats were robbed in Islamabad by unidentified assailants.

The case, filed by Saudi Attaché Khalid bin Modhi Al Toom, reported that the suspects stole two mobile phones valued at Rs300,000 each.
