Jaranwala man puts his heart, kidneys for sale to pay hefty electricity bill

In a shocking event, a Jaranwala,  Punjab, resident has announced the sale of his heart and kidneys to pay his electricity bill, with the video going viral on social media.

The affected citizen, Yaseen, stated that he has been living a life of disability for five years and questioned how he could pay a bill of 10,300 rupees.

"In addition to selling my heart and kidneys, the disabled person also said that my eyes should be taken to pay the electricity bill," he said.

The citizen appealed to the government to fulfill the promise of providing free electricity to poor and needy families.

The video of the disabled young man has become a top trend on social media, while Yaseen, a resident of a nearby village in the Jaranwala circle, is awaiting a savior.

The expensive electricity bills have compelled the masses to sell their belongings for payment. Recently it has emerged that the government has decided to jack up electricity price by Rs5 per unit to appease IMF for fresh loan program.
