If a device is found to be stolen or snatched, it is immediately handed over to CPLC.
Rizwan Irfan stressed that this SOP is currently being enforced only in Karachi. However, if expanded across Sindh, many more stolen and snatched phones could be recovered and returned to citizens.
Meanwhile, Sindh Home Minister has advised citizens to keep their mobile phones in secure places to avoid theft or snatching.
