Man slits throat of his three-year-old daughter in Peshawar

In a bone-chilling incident, a callous man in Peshawar on Sunday slaughtered his three-year-old daughter.

Police said that the man, a psycho patient, slit the throat of his child in Phando area of the city while she was on the roof of the house.

The Force further said that the man was in their custody.

Earlier, police arrested a man for murdering his 14-year-old daughter in the Wah Cantt area of Rawalpindi district. 

Police said that the accused, Maqsood, had killed his daughter with a sharp-edged object. They added that the police team had inspected the crime scene and recovered a sharp-edged object believed to be the murder weapon.

According to police sources, the man, who was now in police custody, appeared to be mentally ill. 

The Wah Cantt police said that a case would be registered after they had received the post-mortem report.
