Mass marriages organised under Dhee Rani Program in Punjab

Under the “Dhee Rani” program, a total of 66 dignified mass wedding ceremonies were organized over the past nine months, during which 4,857 deserving couples were married with respect and honor.

According to details, Sohail Shaukat Butt stated that the Department of Social Welfare demonstrated outstanding performance during all three phases of the program.

In Phase 1, 25 successful mass wedding events were organized, followed by 23 more well-managed ceremonies in Phase 2.

In Phase 3, as many as 18 mass wedding events have already been held during the month of October alone.

In Dera Ghazi Khan, a total of 204 couples were married under the initiative.

Bhakkar and Muzaffargarh also topped the list, with 200 couples each tying the knot through the program.

Similarly, 169 weddings were arranged in Jhang and 139 in Khanewal, all conducted in an organized and graceful manner.
