Mir Raza case: Police submit challan in court without 'breakthrough'

The Karachi police have submitted an interim challan in the Mir Raza murder case, with no suspect named as an accused, according to the document.
The challan includes a list of 53 witnesses, comprising Mir Raza’s family members, fiancée and friends. His business partner Muhammad Ahmed and brother Abdullah have also been included in the list of witnesses.
Other witnesses include Edhi Foundation volunteers, nursery employees, forensic experts and medico-legal officer Dr Usama.
According to the challan, reports relating to the deceased’s mobile phone, Apple Watch, SIM data, crypto account details and other forensic evidence are still awaited.
The investigating officer said a final challan would be submitted after the pending reports are received.
