Multan woman gives birth in hospital toilet

A woman has given birth to a baby in a toilet in Nishtar, a well-known government hospital in Multan.

According to details, a woman who came to Multan Nishtar Hospital with a complaint of labor gave birth to a child in the washroom.

The hospital administration said after getting the ultrasound done, the woman went to the washroom where she gave birth to a child after severe labor pain, on which the staff immediately shifted the mother and child to the gynae labor room.

According to hospital sources, the health of the patient and the child is satisfactory.

Last month, a similar situation occurred at a government hospital in interior Sindh, where a pregnant woman gave birth outside the hospital premises due to lack of necessary facilities.

This situation reflects the difficulties faced by the people of Pakistan, especially the rural people.
