ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited the Khadija-tul-Kubra Mosque in Islamabad, where there was a terrorist attack.

On the occasion, the Prime Minister observed that no greater instance of brutality could be thought of than this. He observed that the attack was nothing but a conspiracy to bring divisions, which has not succeeded.

The provincial chief minister, Shehbaz Sharif, announced a financial grant of Rs 5 million for each of the martyrs’ families.

He also promised an award of Rs. 3 million for the critically injured and Rs. 1 million for those with minor injuries.

The Prime Minister also visited the home of Aoun Abbas, who had been martyred in an attempt to stop the suicide bomber, and praised him for his bravery.

A powerful explosion strucked an Imambargah located in the Shehzad Town on Feburary 6, in the outskirts of Islamabad. At least 31 people were killed and 169 were injured after the explosion during Friday prayers.
