PML-N MPA forces police officer to "excuse" for stopping his car over black mirror

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) lawmaker from Punjab, Malik Waheed, has exerted pressure on a police officer to apologise after the cop stopped MPA's car, which bore tinted windows, in Lahore.

The video of the incident went viral on social media, showing PML-N MPA exhibiting his powers.

In the video, Waheed, in a threatening tone, can be seen insisting a police officer to 'excuse' him publically in front of the camera. 

The PML-N leader also warned of organising a protest unless Sub-Inspector, identified as Yasir, complied with his demand for an apology.

Later, the police officer tendered an apology to Nawaz Sharif-led party's leader resolve the matter.

Following the incident, DIG Operations Ali Nasir Rizvi transferred SI Yasir to the judicial wing.

In a separate video statement, MPA Waheed claimed that during a public gathering in his constituency following his electoral victory, the police, with alleged malicious intent, had subjected him to an unwarranted inspection.

Waheed added that police tried to make fun of him in public under the guise of a routine checking.
