A controversial cleric Hasan Iqbal Chishti, who often releases Kalams targetting working women, remains at large despite public outcry and demands for his arrest.

Chishti has released several Kalams that target women and girls, denouncing their access to education and independence.

Earlier this month, the cleric released a Kalam asking parents to withdraw their daughters from schools, alleging that "they go to educational institutes to dance rather than study".

He also used abusive language against girls in the video, advising parents to confine their daughters to their homes.

Chishti has also targeted women who use smartphones, drive cars, and express liberal views in another Kalam.

A group of lawyers has drafted a petition to lodge a case against Chishti, but police have yet to take action.

Sources revealed that law enforcers are under pressure from local religious scholars to avoid lodging a First Information Report (FIR) against the cleric.

Despite the mounting pressure, Chishti remains at large, and his continued freedom has left many questioning the authorities' commitment to protecting women's rights.

The anti-girls education Kalam is still on the YouTube channel of Chishti with thousands of views on it.
