Pregnant woman dies as bus hits family on bike in Karachi

A family riding a motorcycle was hit by a passenger coach near Baldia Lucky Charhai.

A pregnant woman died in the accident and her eight-year-old daughter was injured, while the deceased's husband survived.

According to Chhipa, a passenger coach rammed a family riding a motorcycle near Jamia Farooqia Madrassa in Baldia.

The woman and her daughter riding the motorcycle were injured.

They were shifted to the Civil Hospital, where the mother died during treatment.

She was identified as 30-year-old Ayesha, wife of Faqir Muhammad, and the injured daughter as eight-year-old Maryam.

Faqir Muhammad remained safe in the accident.

The brother-in-law of the woman who died in the accident, Farooq, told the media that Faqir Muhammad was returning home to Gulshan Mazdoor with his family from Baldia Town, from his in-laws' residence, when a passenger coach hit his motorcycle near Jamia Farooqia Madrassa.
