A citizen’s call to the 15 police helpline for help in arranging blood for his child’s open-heart surgery prompted a swift and compassionate response from the Rawalpindi Police, who arrived at the hospital to donate blood.

According to details, the father of a one-year-old child contacted the helpline seeking urgent blood donations for his son’s surgery scheduled at the Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology.

The police officers, upon receiving the information, immediately reached the hospital and donated four bottles of blood to support the life-saving procedure.

The child’s father, a resident of Sargodha, expressed deep gratitude to the Punjab police and Rawalpindi police for their timely humanitarian assistance during a moment of distress.
