Robbers disguised as plumbers steal 16 tola gold from Karachi house

A major robbery was reported in Karachi’s Joharabad area, where robbers disguised as plumbers allegedly entered a house in Asif Nagar on the pretext of carrying out plumbing work and stole 16 tolas of gold and Rs. 50,000 in cash.

According to the police report, the affected resident submitted a complaint at Joharabad Police Station, stating that two robbers entered the house posing as plumbers.

The suspects allegedly looted 16 tolas of gold and Rs. 50,000 in cash before fleeing the scene.

The resident said that women and his elderly parents were present inside the house at the time of the incident. He alleged that the suspects, who had arrived posing as plumbers, looted valuables from the house.

CCTV footage showing the suspects entering and leaving the house has also surfaced. The footage reportedly shows the two men entering the residence on the pretext of carrying out plumbing work, with their faces clearly visible.

After committing the robbery, both suspects left the house and fled. Police said that an investigation into the incident is underway.
