Robbers loot man at petrol pump in broad daylight in Karachi

A young boy was looted by armed robbers at a petrol pump in broad daylight in Karachi on Monday afternoon, Closed-circuit television footage showed.

According to details, the incident took place in the Shahrah-e-Faisal area of the metropolis.

In the CCTV video, two armed dacoits on a motorbike could be seen robbing young man, who stopped at a petrol pump to refuel his motorcycle's tank.

The bandits, in the video, could also be seen fleeing the scene easily after committing the crime.

However, no one presented at the fuel station came to help the man.

According to details, the dacoits took away a mobile phone, cash, and a bag from the robbery victim.

The surge in street crimes has instilled fear and insecurity among Karachi's citizens, as robbers continue to commit crimes with impunity. 

In the first six months of the ongoing year, almost 80 people have been killed by dacoits for showing resistance during the robbery incidents in Karachi.

The incidents have raised concerns about the city's law and order situation, with many calling for increased security measures to prevent such crimes.

On the other hand, Sindh Home Minister Zia-ul-Hasan Lanjar has announced that he would suspend the SHO of a police station if any citizen loses their life during the robbery incident in Karachi.
