Karachi police have yet to identify the culprit in the murder case of 7-year-old Sarim, who was kidnapped and sexually assaulted before being killed in North Karachi.
The investigation team conducted another raid at Bait-ul-Anam Apartments on Thursday, detaining two additional suspects with suspicious behavior and movements.
This brings the total number of detainees in the case to nine, as authorities continue their efforts to uncover the perpetrator.
Despite their efforts, police have made no breakthroughs in the investigation.
According to sources, the authorities are still trying to determine where Sarim was kept and murdered within the apartments.
The four-member investigation team is awaiting the DNA report, which they believe will be key to identifying the killer. They have collected more fingerprints from the water tank where Sarim's body was discovered.
The detainees are being questioned separately as the investigation intensifies. Authorities remain hopeful that the forensic evidence and interrogations will soon lead to the resolution of this heinous crime.
