Software engineer kills boss over 'salary dispute' in Karachi

In a shocking incident, a software engineer in Karachi killed his chief executive officer (CEO) over a financial dispute related to non-payment of salary, police said on Tuesday.

According to the police, the incident took place on Monday evening at the Kawish Crown Plaza on Sharahe-e-Faisal.

Police said that 42-year-old Naveed Khan was stabbed to death by 27-year-old Shoaib Shah.

SSP East Dr Farrukh Raza confirmed that the suspect was arrested by the law enforcers.

He further stated that the initial investigation revealed a financial dispute between the victim and the accused.

The deceased was the CEO of a foreign software company, while the accused was a software engineer at the same company.

The police are conducting further investigations to uncover the details of the incident and the motives behind the murder.
