Teenage girl dies after abaya gets stuck in bike chain in Karachi

In a tragic accident, a teenage girl died after her abaya got entangled in the chain sprocket and rear wheel of a bike in Karachi's Liaquatabad.

According to rescue officials, the accident occurred near Firdous Shopping Mall when the victim, identified as 19-year-old Umm-e-Hani, was riding on a motorcycle.

Her abaya got caught in the chain sprocket and the rear wheel of the bike, causing the two-wheeler to lose balance and fall onto the road.

She sustained multiple serious injuries and died on the spot, the officials said.

Rescue teams arrived soon after receiving information and shifted the body to a nearby hospital. Following the completion of legal formalities, the body was handed over to the family.
