Tortured Hyderabad donkey dies in Karachi

A donkey that endured severe torture in Hyderabad, Sindh, has tragically passed away in Karachi while undergoing treatment.
The injured animal had been receiving medical attention at a shelter in Karachi over the past several days.
The shelter administration confirmed the donkey’s demise on social media, expressing deep sorrow over its suffering and highlighting the urgent need for greater advocacy for animal welfare throughout Pakistan.
During its final days, the donkey received affection and care, according to the shelter.
The poor animal had suffered broken legs due to the abuse it endured. The perpetrator responsible was apprehended, and legal action has been initiated against him.
In another distressing incident, a man in Sanghar severed a camel’s leg when it strayed into his fields.
Additionally, in a separate case in the Rawalpindi area, a donkey was viciously injured by an influential individual after being allowed to drink water following wheat harvesting.
