A disturbing incident in Daska, Sialkot, has left two brothers injured following a violent dispute over an unpaid electricity bill.

The confrontation began when two younger brothers, who had failed to contribute to the bill, attacked their older siblings with knives.

The altercation occurred after their brother, Gulzar, a laborer, discovered his children were affected by a power outage caused by his younger brothers' disconnection of the electricity meter wires.

The situation quickly turned violent, resulting in severe knife injuries to Gulzar and another brother. The attackers fled, prompting a manhunt by local authorities.

This incident underscores the growing tensions and severe consequences of disputes over electricity bills, which have been linked to several tragic incidents this year, including suicides and violent altercations, amidst soaring electricity costs and familial conflicts over bill payments.
