Youth shot dead for resisting robbery bid in Karachi’s Korangi

A young man was shot dead while resisting a robbery attempt in Allahwala Town, Korangi, police said, as CCTV footage of the incident has gone viral on social media.

According to the police, the deceased was identified as Abbas Jamal. The footage shows armed robbers attempting to snatch the victim’s motorcycle. However, when he resisted, the suspects opened fire on him.

As a result, Abbas Jamal died on the spot, while the robbers managed to flee after the incident.

The Korangi Industrial Area (KIA) police said that they have obtained the CCTV footage and are using it to identify and arrest the suspects.

Police said that investigation has been launched to arest the suspects.
