Bangladesh on Tuesday defeated Pakistan by six wickets in the second Test match at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, securing a historic 2-0 series whitewash.
The defeat marks the second time Pakistan have suffered a whitewash at home series, with Bangladesh dominating both matches.
Bangladesh easily chased down a target of 185 runs in the second test match, losing just four wickets.
Rain and bad light curtailed play on the fourth day, but the visitors extended their innings by 42 runs on the final day.
The first day of the must-win match for Green Shirts was washed out due to heavy rains in Rawalpindi.
Pakistan batted first on the second day and scored 274 runs. Bangladesh responded with 262 runs, trailing by 12 runs.
Pakistan then started their second innings with a 12-run lead and scored 172 runs, setting Bangladesh a target of 185 runs to win.
Bangladesh's Mushfiqur Rahim and Shakib al Hasan ended the match with a partnership of 43 runs.
Earlier in the first match, Bangladesh made history by securing a ten-wicket victory against Pakistan.
The series sweep marks a historic achievement for Bangladesh cricket, while Pakistan face disappointment on home soil.
