Champions Trophy 2025: PM to inaugurate Gaddafi Stadium on Feb 7

The Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Mohsin Naqvi, has officially declared the inauguration dates for the refurbished Gaddafi Stadium in anticipation of the Champions Trophy 2025.
During a press conference held at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Friday, the PCB Chairman outlined the inauguration plans for the upgraded stadiums in relation to the Champions Trophy 2025.
"Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will inaugurate the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on February 7, while President Asif Ali Zardari will inaugurate the stadium in Karachi on February 11," stated Mohsin Naqvi.
Furthermore, he mentioned, "We have organized a Champions Trophy ceremony for February 16 in Lahore in partnership with the ICC
Addressing concerns regarding the seating arrangements at the venue, Naqvi confirmed that high-quality chairs had been imported from China.

"The chairs meet international standards and come with a 20-year warranty," he added.
The PCB Chairman also disclosed that he had met with the selection committee, indicating that the Pakistan squad for the Champions Trophy 2025 would be announced later today.
Naqvi mentioned that invitations had been extended to ICC officials and all cricket boards, including the Board of Control for Cricket in India, to attend the matches.
"Some of them are planning to arrive for the semi-final, while others intend to visit Pakistan for the final. Their arrival schedules vary, but we expect a significant number of guests in Pakistan," he noted.
