The International Cricket Council (ICC) meeting, which was scheduled for Saturday, has been postponed once again due BCCI's failure to respond to the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) proposal regarding the venue for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.

The meeting was initially set for Thursday but had to be rescheduled due to the same reason.

The dispute between Pakistan and India regarding the venue for the upcoming Champions Trophy remains unresolved. However, reports suggest that the two nations reached a tentative agreement on neutral venues for ICC events.

Under the proposed deal, Pakistan and India would play their respective matches at neutral locations during tournaments hosted by either country.

The arrangement is reportedly set to apply to ICC events until 2027, with Dubai being designated as the venue for the next three years.

No official confirmation has yet been received from the ICC, BCCI, or PCB regarding this agreement, following claims made by Indian media.

Pakistan, in turn, has insisted on a similar hybrid arrangement for upcoming ICC events in India, such as the Women’s ODI World Cup in 2024 and the Men’s T20 World Cup in 2026, which India will co-host with Sri Lanka.

The Champions Trophy, which is scheduled to begin in February, is slated to be hosted by Pakistan.

However, India has previously expressed reluctance to send its team to Pakistan, citing long-standing political tensions between the two nations.
