Karachi Kings captain David Warner has rejected a fan’s suggestion to return to the Indian Premier League (IPL) following his team’s exit from the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 11.

Taking to Instagram after Karachi Kings were eliminated, Warner reflected on the team’s campaign, acknowledging an inconsistent run but praising the squad’s effort and commitment. He highlighted the “passion, resilience, and attitude” displayed by the players throughout the tournament, adding that the demands of franchise cricket often go beyond what is visible on the field.

“Not the result we were hoping for, but the passion, resilience, and attitude shown by this group were incredible,” Warner wrote, noting the level of dedication required in such competitions.

The former Australian opener also thanked fans for their continued support and appreciated organisers for hosting the event. He specifically acknowledged the role of security personnel and law enforcement agencies in ensuring the smooth conduct of matches amid logistical and traffic challenges.

Warner’s post gained traction after a social media user advised him to quit the PSL and return to the IPL. Responding to the suggestion, Warner dismissed the idea, replying briefly: “No need for that now.”
