Pakistan Army begins training cricketers for T20 World Cup

Pakistan Army has started training national cricketers at the Army School of Physical Training in Kakul for the upcoming T20 World Cup, set to commence in June this year.
A total of 29 players has taken take part in the fitness camp in Abbottabad. Imad Wasim and Mohammad Amir have also joined training session after retracting their retirement from international cricket
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said the training camp is scheduled to take place from March 26 to April 8.
"The camp, organised in collaboration with the Pakistan Army, is strategically designed to prepare the players for the upcoming series and tournaments, including the home T20I series against New Zealand, the away T20I series against Ireland and England, and the forthcoming ICC T20 World Cup in USA and West Indies," the cricket body said in a statement.
"The camp will focus on team building and aims to enhance the physical and mental strength of the players, ensuring they are in the best condition to face the challenges ahead. Under the guidance of experienced trainers and coaches, the players will undergo a comprehensive training regime tailored to elevate their fitness levels, agility, leadership and strategic thinking and overall performance on the field," it added.
Daily Routine:
According to the sources, the players will go through three physical training sessions in a day between the 10-day training camp.
As per details, the first session will start in the morning from 6am to 7am, then after a small break the second session will commence at 8am, which would last for four hours, and the final session of the day will start at 5:30pm.
Players will be given different tasks during these training sessions to help them improve endurance and their fitness standards.

Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Saim Ayub, Fakhar Zaman, Sahibzada Farhan, Haseebullah, Saud Shakeel, Usman Khan, Mohammad Haris, Salman Ali Agha, Azam Khan, Iftikhar Ahmed, Irfan Khan Niazi, Shadab Khan, Imad Wasim, Usama Mir, Mohammad Nawaz, Mehran Mumtaz, Abrar Ahmed, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah, Mohammad Abbas Afridi, Hasan Ali, Mohammad Ali, Zaman Khan, Mohammad Wasim Jnr, Aamir Jamal, Haris Rauf, and Mohammad Amir.
