The Pakistan men’s cricket team will tour Bangladesh next month for a three-match T20I series as part of their preparations for the ICC T20 World Cup.
The tour will be a reciprocal visit following Bangladesh’s three-match T20I series in Lahore earlier this year, which Pakistan won 3-0.
In a statement, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said the Bangladesh series is part of the plan to prepare the national side for the global tournament.
“Pakistan will arrive in Dhaka on 16 July before taking on the home side in the matches on July 20, 22 and 24 as part of the build-up for the World Cup,” the statement read.
All matches will be played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka.
Following the Bangladesh tour, Pakistan will travel to the West Indies for three T20Is and three ODIs. The dates and venues for that leg of the tour will be announced later.
Series Schedule in Bangladesh:
16 July: Arrival in Dhaka
20 July: 1st T20I at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Dhaka
22 July: 2nd T20I at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Dhaka
24 July: 3rd T20I at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Dhaka
