Pakistani martial artist Irfan Mehsud sets another Guinness World Record

Pakistani martial artist Irfan Mehsud has set another Guinness World Record after completing 38 full-extension one-hand punches in one minute while holding a 10-kilogram weight.
Mehsud beat the previous record of 30 punches with the latest performance, according to his Guinness World Records certificate.
The record was achieved in Dera Ismail Khan on March 19, 2026, the certificate states.
With the latest achievement, Mehsud has now secured around 70 Guinness World Records in strength and fitness categories at the international level.
His previous records cover a wide range of exercises, including push-ups, squats, jumping jacks, step-ups, knee strikes, elbow strikes, side jumps, high jumps and star jumps.
Mehsud has also completed record-breaking performances while using weights of 100 pounds, 80 pounds, 60 pounds and 40 pounds.
His achievements have involved breaking or surpassing records previously held by athletes from around 20 countries. These include the United States, United Kingdom, India, China, Norway, Germany, France, Finland, the Philippines, Spain, Italy, Lebanon, Egypt, Iraq, Pakistan and Syria.
Mehsud’s influence has also extended to his students. Around 20 of his students have gone on to set Guinness World Records in their own right.
