PCB Chairman decides to send Saim Ayub to London for immediate treatment

Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Mohsin Naqvi, has decided to send Saim Ayub to London for advanced medical treatment following consultations with medical experts.
Ayub twisted his ankle during second test against South Africa.
In a personal gesture, Naqvi contacted Saim Ayub to inquire about his condition and extended heartfelt wishes for his swift recovery.
The stylish batter, regarded as a vital asset for Pakistan cricket, is set to undergo an evaluation by top sports orthopedists in London.
Dr. Mumrez, overseeing Saim Ayub’s case in Pakistan, has forwarded all medical reports to London.
Arrangements are being made to send Saim Ayub to London on the earliest available flight from Cape Town.
Assistant coach Azhar Mahmood will accompany him to ensure proper support during the process.
Expressing concern over the player’s injury, Mohsin Naqvi said:
“We are committed to ensuring Saim Ayub receives the best possible treatment at one of the world’s leading medical facilities. All necessary resources are being utilized, and we are optimistic that he will recover fully before the Champions Trophy," the PCB chairman said.
