PCB mulls holding PSL 11 final in Dubai or USA

The final of the upcoming season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) may be staged at a neutral venue outside Pakistan, sources have revealed, as discussions continue between league management and franchise owners.

According to insiders, the possibility of holding the PSL 11 final abroad was a key topic during a recent meeting between PSL management and representatives of the franchises.

While no final decision has been made, stakeholders are said to be considering overseas options for the marquee fixture.

England, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States have emerged as potential hosts for the final.

Sources indicate that England and the US are currently being viewed as strong contenders, although Dubai also remains under consideration due to its previous experience in hosting PSL matches.

Franchise owners are expected to deliberate further before reaching a consensus on whether to move the final out of Pakistan.

The proposal is understood to be part of broader discussions aimed at expanding the league’s international footprint and attracting a wider global audience.

The 11th edition of the PSL is scheduled to begin on March 26, with the tournament set to run for approximately six weeks.
