Shaheen Afridi secures 12th spot in top twenty T20I bowlers list

Pakistan pace ace Shaheen Shah Afridi has secured a spot in the top twenty T20I bowlers list, according to the International Cricket Council's (ICC) latest rankings. 

According to the international cricket body, the 24-year-old bowler clinched 12th place, climbing up three ranks, with 631 points.

The top three positions were secured by England's Adil Rashid, Sri Lanka's Wanindu Hasaranga and Axar Patel, respectively.

Pakistani pacer Haris Rauf was ranked 25th with 574 points. Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan jumped two places up to secure seventh place in the world-class bowlers' list.

However, Shaheen Afridi was the only Pakistani player who was featured in the top twenty T20I bowlers list. 

In the batting department, India's Suryakumar Yadav was top of the list as the best batter in the world, followed by England's Phil Salt.

Pakistani skipper Babar Azam and wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan were ranked third and fourth, respectively, with 769 and 761 points. 

England captain Jos Buttler moved up one place to seventh in the world-class batter list.

In the all-rounder category, Sri Lanka's Wanindu Hasaranga topped the list with a rating of 228, followed by Bangladesh's Shakibul Hasan, who has dropped one place to 2nd. 

Pakistan's Imad Wasim moved up four places to 12th, while Shadab Khan was ranked 13th in the list of top 20 all-rounders.
