Former Pakistan cricket team captain and chief selector Shahid Afridi has announced his plan to disclose the internal dynamics and issues within the team after the conclusion of the T20 World Cup.

Afridi made this revelation during an appearance on Samaa TV's program "Zor Ka Jor," where he was questioned about the apparent lack of unity within the team.

In response to the host's inquiries, Afridi suggested that he is aware of several undisclosed aspects but chose not to speak openly at this juncture. He underscored the crucial role of the captain in fostering or fracturing team unity.

"The captain is the leader who takes everyone along. It's the captain who sets the team atmosphere, either making or breaking it," Afridi emphasized. He stressed that the captain bears the ultimate responsibility for uniting the team on the field, with support from the selection committee.

Afridi also addressed his personal relationships within the team, particularly with his son-in-law, Shaheen Afridi. "My relationship with Shaheen is different. Even if I talk about something, people will say that I am supporting my son-in-law, but I am not like that! If my daughter, son, or son-in-law is wrong, I will call them out," he stated unequivocally.

Afridi went on to critique the performance of the selection committee and the board over recent years, acknowledging significant errors and hinting at deeper issues within the management. "In the last few years, our selection committee and board have made big mistakes. I will speak openly after the World Cup. Our people themselves have spoiled this unit," he said.

His remarks suggest a forthcoming exposé that could shed light on the internal workings of the Pakistan cricket team, potentially sparking discussions about leadership, management, and team dynamics.
