Pakistan will face Canada in a must-win match of the T20 World Cup at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York today (June 11) at 7:30pm PST.

Sources close to the team management have revealed that out-of-form Iftikhar Ahmed may be replaced by Saim Ayub in the final eleven.

The team management is yet to confirm the final lineup, but the 33-year-old all-rounder's consistent poor performance may lead to his exclusion from the team in today's do-or-die match.

The right-handed batter's performance in the mega tournament so far has been underwhelming, scoring just 18 runs against the USA and 5 runs against India.

His overall T20 record stands at 998 runs in 55 innings, with an average of 24.34.

However, skipper Babar Azam is likely to take a call on the final lineup upon reaching the ground.
