A teenage cricket fan has been booked for breaching security at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium during the fourth day of the first Test match against South Africa.
The youth, identified as 15-year-old Hamza, entered the players’ dressing room in an attempt to meet cricket star Babar Azam in an incident that coincided with the player's 31st birthday.

The FIR was lodged at the Gulberg police station on the complaint of sub-inspector Imran Shahid, who stated that he, along with other police officers, was on security duty at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore where a Test match between Pakistan and South Africa was in progress.
At around 1:30pm, one person entered the Fazal Mahmood Enclosure while raising slogans and broke through the security barrier, he said, adding that the person deliberately violated the security instructions.
"He was chased and lawfully apprehended with the assistance of accompanying officials," the officer said. Upon inquiry, he disclosed his name and address as Hamza, son of Sajid Rafiq, a resident of Township, Lahore.
During interrogation, he confessed that he was a fan of Babar Azam and had entered the dressing room solely to get his autograph. Players inside the dressing room were reportedly stunned to see an unfamiliar person among them. Security officials acted promptly after being alerted by the players and took the boy into custody.
