As Israeli genocide continued unabated in Gaza, infant twins, born to a couple after 11 years of their marriage during the war, were killed in an airstrike.

The twins were laid to rest on Sunday, among the 14 family members killed during an Israeli attack on their home in Rafah.

The mother of the infants, Rania Abu Anza, who gave birth to children for the first time after 11 years of marriage, was heartbroken.

“What was our mistake? Now how can I live more? Who will call me mother?” Rania said while mourning the loss of her infant twins.

During the funeral, she held one of her children's lifeless bodies in her arms, pressing it against her cheek as she was caressing the child's head. The second child's body was carried by another grieving person.

Rania, whose husband was also martyred in this airstrike, said, “My Heart is broken,” as others were consoling her.

Israel’s ruthless restrictions on the entry of aid in Gaza has placed 2.3 million people at the brink of famine.

The "flour massacre" on February 27, resulted in the death of at least 117 Palestinians and left over 750 wounded. The bloodshed unfolded as Palestinians gathered around a convoy of aid trucks at the Nabulsi Roundabout on the southwestern side of Gaza City, and Israeli troops opened fire on the crowd.

According to the Gaza Health Ministry, after the flour massacre, Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) continues to target Palestinians assembling to collect aid.

The Israeli genocide in Gaza has led to the death of over 30,000 Palestinians, majority women and children, with thousands still under the rubble and many suffering from acute injuries.

Rafah, bordering Egypt, is the last refuge for Palestinians who were pushed out of northern Gaza on the pretext of refuge. However, the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) also launched brutal attacks on these so-called safe sites.
