Delivering the Hajj sermon from Masjid Namirah, Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah, Imam of Masjid al-Haram, said that du’a (supplication) is a believer's greatest weapon and urged the Muslim Ummah to pray for unity and solidarity.
Sheikh Dr. Saleh began his Hajj sermon with the call to taqwa (piety), saying: “O believers, fear Allah and remain mindful of Him. Taqwa is the hallmark of the faithful and brings blessings in both this world and the Hereafter.”
He said only worship only Allah, without associating partners with him and treat the poor, orphans, and relatives with kindness.
He reminded worshippers that faith has over 70 branches, the most important of which is modesty (haya).
He warned against disobeying parents, which displeases Allah. "Spreading corruption on Earth, which Allah has strictly forbidden."
Dr. Saleh prayed for the oppressed in Palestine, asking Allah to protect and shelter them and grant them relief from their enemies.

The sermon was broadcast live in 35 languages, including English and Urdu, from Masjid Namirah in Arafat.
After the sermon, combined Zuhr and Asr prayers were offered. Pilgrims then engaged in Talbiyah, supplications, and dhikr during their stay in Arafat (Wuquf-e-Arafah).
At sunset, pilgrims departed for Muzdalifah, where they would perform Maghrib and Isha prayers together, collect pebbles for Rami (stoning the devil), and rest overnight before proceeding to Mina for the ritual of Rami and sacrifice the next day.
