"Gaza is not 4 sale": Trump’s golf course in Scotland vandalised

Pro-Palestinian activists have vandalized Donald Trump’s Turnberry golf resort in Scotland, protesting his proposed reconstruction plan for Gaza.

Activists from Palestine Action spray-painted “Gaza is not 4 sale” in 9-foot-high letters across the resort’s luxury lawn, defaced buildings with red paint, and dug up sections of the greens.

The group accused Trump of supporting a plan that would “destroy, ethnically cleanse, and take over” Gaza.

The protest follows Trump’s controversial proposal to transform Gaza into the “Riviera of the Middle East”, a plan that suggests relocating 2 million Palestinians.

His remarks have faced international backlash, with Arab leaders strongly rejecting any forced displacement.

Trump Turnberry, a prestigious golf course he acquired in 2014, is known for its exclusivity, with rounds costing up to $1,200. The resort has not yet commented on the incident.

Meanwhile, protests over Gaza are escalating across the West. On Saturday, a man carrying a Palestinian flag climbed Elizabeth Tower in London, prompting an emergency response.

British authorities have also blocked a planned pro-Palestine march near a synagogue in central London.

Internationally, France, Germany, Italy, and the UK have endorsed a $53 billion Arab-backed reconstruction plan, which ensures Palestinians remain in Gaza.

However, Israel and Trump oppose the proposal, arguing it sidesteps Hamas' disarmament.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected any role for Hamas or the Palestinian Authority in Gaza’s future. An international conference is scheduled next month to discuss funding for Gaza’s rebuilding efforts.
