The Presidency of the Religious Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque said that the Arafat sermon will be translated into 50 languages this year.
The transmission of the translated Hajj Khutab started almost six years ago in five languages on the directions of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
Last year, the sermon was aired in 20 languages to make it understandable for Muslims across the globe.
Over 1 billion Muslims would benefit from the translation of the holy sermon in 50 languages.
Sheikh Maher Al-Mu'aiqly was appointed as Hajj Khateeb to deliver the sermon on the day of Arafat this year.
Maher bin Hamad bin Muhammad Bin al-Mu'aiqly al-Balawi is an Imam and preacher of the Grand Mosque in Makkah.
The Day of Arafat will fall on June 15 in Saudi Arabia, when Muslims scale the holy mountain to perform the pinnacle of the sacred pilgrimage.
