A powerful blizzard sweeping across the northeastern United States has brought daily life to a standstill, with strong winds and heavy snowfall leaving millions without electricity.

According to U.S. media reports, more than three feet of snow was recorded in the state of Rhode Island, breaking decades-old records.

Similarly, nearly 20 inches of snow was recorded in Central Park in New York City, covering streets, parks, and residential neighborhoods entirely in snow.

In Massachusetts, a state of emergency has been declared due to the severe storm, and residents have been advised to avoid unnecessary travel.

Aviation authorities report that more than 5,600 flights have been canceled nationwide, while operations at several airports have been severely disrupted.

Strong winds and intense snowfall have left millions without power, as emergency crews work to restore electricity and clear roads.

Officials have warned that snowfall and extreme cold are expected to continue for the next few days, raising concerns about further travel disruptions and continued impact on daily life.
