Iran executes another individual for spying for Israel's Mossad

TEHRAN: Iran has executed another individual convicted of spying for the Israeli intelligence agency, Mossad.

According to Mizan News Agency, judicial authorities stated that the executed person was providing classified information about Iran to Israel.

Arab media, citing Prosecutor Kazem Mousavi, reported that the convict had maintained contact with Israel’s intelligence services and had held meetings with Mossad officers.

Officials said the suspect was identified through the timely and effective action of intelligence and security agencies, which also prevented further leaks of sensitive information.

It is worth noting that Iran has previously arrested and executed several individuals accused of espionage for Israel.

Just last month, another Mossad agent was sentenced to death on similar charges.
