Several explosions occurred in Qeshm Island in the southern part of Iran on Tuesday, amid continued US military escalation with Iran.

This has been reported by the semi-official Fars news agency, but without giving any additional information regarding the cause of the blasts.

The Tasnim news agency has reported that an American projectile was seen exploding near a water and electricity facility in Kish Island. On another note, the army of Kuwait has announced that its troops are currently combating hostile aerial targets in the airspace of the country.

"Any explosion sound that may be heard is the result of the air defense systems intercepting the hostile attack," the army noted on X.

It appealed to people to adhere to all instructions regarding safety issued by the authorities.

On the other hand, the air raid sirens were heard in Bahrain for the fourth time on Tuesday, according to the Interior Ministry, amid military escalation between Iran and the US.

"Citizens and residents are urged to stay calm and move towards the nearest safe place," the ministry stated on X.

This follows other warnings from neighboring countries such as Jordan and Bahrain about Iranian attacks with Iranian missiles and other aerial threats after attacks launched by Iran on United States' military bases as tensions rise in the region.

All this was happening during the continued military confrontations between the two countries with the new escalations witnessed amidst attacks on ships in the Strait of Hormuz.

All these events followed the renewed tensions in the Strait of Hormuz amid the start of the war launched against Iran by the US and Israel on February 28.

An understanding between Washington and Tehran was agreed on through the Islamabad memorandum, which included a ceasefire brokered by Qatar and Pakistan with the aim of reaching an ultimate peace deal to end the war. Nevertheless, US President, Donald Trump declared on July 8 that the ceasefire is no more amid hostilities.
