Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has issued a stern warning to Israel, vowing that the next attack by his country will be "much more painful" for Tel Aviv.
"With God's help, the blows of the uprising front will become stronger and more painful on the worn and rotting body of the Zionist regime," Khamenei declared in a statement posted on social media platform X in Hebrew language, which was translated by Google.
The warning came shortly after Iran launched over 400 ballistic missiles at Israeli territories from cities including Isfahan, Tabriz, Khorramabad, Karaj, and Arak.
בעזרת השם, מכות חזית ההתקוממות יהפכו חזקות וכואבות יותר על הגוף השחוק והנרקב של המשטר הציוני.

Israeli media reported rocket sightings in Tel Aviv and Sharon, with Israeli Ambulance Services confirming two injuries and treating multiple people hurt during the rush to shelters.
According to the Tehran Times, Iran specifically targeted the Nevatim Airbase, home to Israel's F-35 fighter jets, in the missile attacks.
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said that the attacks were carried out in retaliation for killing Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh and an Iranian general in Lebanon.
“In response to the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh, Hassan Nasrallah and Nilforoushan, we targeted the heart of the occupied territories,” the statement read.
On the other hand, the United States (US) said it helped top ally Israel to shoot down most of the nearly 200 projectiles that were fired by Iran.
