Iranian ambassador rejects ‘baseless propaganda’ against Supreme Leader

Islamabad: Iran’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghaddam, has rejected what he described as false and absurd allegations circulating about Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, stating that the leader stands firmly alongside the people and the country’s vigilant security institutions.
In a statement shared on social media, Ambassador Amiri Moghaddam said that once again a hostile propaganda network had been activated.
He categorically dismissed the “false and ridiculous claims” being spread about the Iranian Supreme Leader.
He said that Iran’s wise, courageous and steadfast leader also serves as the Supreme Commander of the Iranian Armed Forces.
The ambassador further stated that the Iranian Supreme Leader remains shoulder to shoulder with the public and the nation’s alert security apparatus.
Referring to the broader information environment, he said that the current era is marked by digital terrorism, disinformation, and ethical misconduct.
Along with his statement, the Iranian ambassador also shared an image of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei holding a rifle.
