Israel killed dozens of Palestinians in airstrikes on a UNRWA school in the Nuseirat refugee camp, which was sheltering innocent civilians, it emerged on Thursday.

The Israeli government admitted that its fighter jets targeted the UNRWA school to strike Hamas fighters.

Horrifying videos of the aftermath circulated on social media, showing children and adults with severe injuries, intensifying calls for Israel to be held accountable for war crimes.

This attack is not an isolated incident; Israel has repeatedly bombed refugee camps in the Gaza Strip, often pushing Palestinians into designated humanitarian zones before targeting these areas under the pretext of attacking Hamas leaders.

International organisations have consistently failed to take decisive action against Israeli war crimes. Meanwhile, the US has targeted International Criminal Court (ICC) officials for issuing arrest warrants for Prime Minister Netanyahu, allowing the IDF to continue its atrocities with impunity.

A ceasefire deal proposed earlier this week has yet to gain consensus, as Israeli leaders refuse to halt military offensive during negotiations.

Thousands of Israelis participated in a so-called "flag march" through occupied East Jerusalem on Wednesday (June 5), marking the anniversary of Israel's complete occupation of the city.

During the march, participants attacked Palestinians, and chanted "Death to Arabs" and "May your village burn."

Since the onset of Israel’s war on Gaza on October 7, the military onslaught has resulted in the deaths of at least 36,586 people and left 83,074 wounded.

In Israel, Hamas’s attacks have killed at least 1,139 people.
