Israeli pilot dismissed for refusing to carry out airstrikes on Gaza

An Israeli Air Force reserve navigator has been dismissed from service after refusing to participate in airstrikes on Gaza, according to The Times of Israel.
The officer, identified as Elon Gur, publicly announced on social media that he would not report for reserve duty, citing his opposition to the renewed military campaign in Gaza.
He stated that the Israeli government had "crossed a line", accusing leadership of prioritizing political interests over the safety and well-being of citizens and disregarding the value of human life.
Following his statement, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed his permanent discharge from the air force.

Meanwhile, Israel has resumed large-scale military operations in Gaza, launching air and artillery strikes across the region.
According to Palestinian authorities, the latest attacks have resulted in the deaths of more than 400 Palestinians, with hundreds more wounded.
