Renowned Islamic scholar Mufti Menk has urged people across the world to remain steadfast and generous in their support for Palestine, encouraging them to ease the suffering of Palestinians in whatever capacity they can.
In a heartfelt message posted on X, Mufti Menk emphasised the need for consistent support as Israel continues its deadly offensive in Gaza and escalates violence across the rest of Palestine, while much of the world remains silent.
"Support Palestine in whatever way you can. Do your best, bearing in mind that not everyone can do what you do. Their circumstances may be different. Think good thoughts. Trust them," he wrote.
He further added, “I have always said, ‘What I do, you cannot do and what you do, I cannot. Together we will succeed.’”

Religious scholars worldwide have echoed similar sentiments, urging increased efforts to support Palestinians, many of whom are enduring devastating injuries from relentless airstrikes and facing starvation due to Israel’s ongoing blockade.

The International Union of Muslim Scholars (IUMS), comprised of prominent religious leaders from around the Muslim world, recently issued a rare fatwa calling for open jihad against Israel amid what it described as the ongoing genocide of Palestinians.
Scholars in Pakistan and Qatar have also openly issued similar decrees, advocating for an armed struggle and a complete boycott of any political, diplomatic, or cultural engagement with Israel.
Meanwhile, no humanitarian aid has reached Gaza since the ceasefire was violated by Israel on March 18. Health officials continue to plead for urgent assistance as medical supplies run dangerously low, leaving hospitals overwhelmed with severely wounded patients.

The outbreak of disease has further worsened the humanitarian crisis.
On Friday, Israeli forces launched fresh airstrikes targeting residential buildings in Khan Younis and Deir al-Balah, including a UNRWA school sheltering displaced civilians.
The Gaza Ministry of Health stated that at least 50,886 Palestinians have lost their lives and 115,875 injured in Israeli attacks since October 7, 2023.
