In the midst of devastation and displacement, a Palestinian trainee lawyer, Noor Nassar, has taken the initiative to ensure the war-affected children of Gaza do not miss out on their education.

Nassar has created a mobile classroom, providing literacy and numeracy lessons to children of all ages in the shade beneath trees.

The initiative comes as a response to the devastating effects of Israel's war on Gaza, which has resulted in the destruction of over 75 percent of the territory's schools since October.

"I began training to host activities for children and started volunteering in local institutions. I found that their minds were rusty, they forgot what they were taught, they forgot their childhood. I started to think of how I could help these children," she said while talking to Al Jazeera.

The war has forcibly displaced most of the population, leaving thousands of children without access to education.

"School without borders" aims to bridge this gap, providing a safe and interactive learning environment for children who have lost months of schooling.

Despite the challenges, Nassar remains determined to make a difference in the lives of Gaza's children, ensuring they do not fall behind in their education.

The mobile classroom has become a beacon of hope in the war-torn territory, where children can learn and grow despite the adversity surrounding them.

The death toll of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip has reached 37,372, with at least 85,452 people injured in Israeli attacks since last October.
