A Tesla showroom in Las Vegas was attacked, with several vehicles set on fire and shot at, prompting police to launch an investigation and classify the incident as a “potential terrorist attack.”
A video of the attack circulated on social media and was reshared by Tesla owner and tech billionaire Elon Musk on his platform, X, where he described the arson as "terrorism."
Several vehicles were burned, and the attacker spray-painted the word "Resist" on the showroom's front doors, according to Assistant Sheriff Dori Koren with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
A man dressed in black was seen in the video throwing a Molotov cocktail and setting fire to the facility.

Following the incident, rescue authorities were alerted at 2:45 am, and the fire was contained before it could reach Tesla's batteries.
No injuries were reported. Police confirmed that a Molotov cocktail was also found inside one of the vehicles as authorities continued to gather evidence.
This is not the first attack on a Tesla facility in the US Previously, seven Tesla vehicles were set ablaze at a mall outside of Boston.
While the recent attacks do not pose a direct security threat, they could result in significant financial losses for Tesla. The company is already facing a decline in sales, partly due to Musk’s controversial ties to the Trump administration.
