Winter rains in Gaza: 8-month-old girl dies due to unbearable cold

For the second consecutive day, rains in Gaza have left Palestinians facing severe difficulties and hardships, causing flooding in areas already devastated by Israeli strikes.

Palestinians have hardly any proper roofs to live under due to the countless airstrikes that destroyed most of their homes.

However, the winter rains have made survival even more difficult as rainwater enters the tents. An 8-month-old baby girl in a refugee camp died from the unbearable cold. Meanwhile, five buildings have also collapsed due to the rain.

Despite the ceasefire agreement, 1.5 million Palestinians are still deprived of necessities as Israel continues to block aid to Gaza.
