Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, a prominent Sikh leader based in Canada, has declared that 20 million Sikhs stand with Pakistan and will not allow the Indian army to cross Punjab to launch an attack on Pakistan.
Speaking firmly, Pannun stated that "the very name of Pakistan signifies purity," adding that India does not have the courage to cross Punjab and attack Pakistan.
He further said that the oppression of minorities, particularly Sikhs, in India is well known to the world. Pannun vowed to bring Indian leaders including Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, S. Jaishankar, and Ajit Doval before international courts to face justice under global laws.
Gurpatwant Singh Pannun criticized the Modi administration for failing to learn from history and warned, “Modi should remember that Sikhs are ready to do anything to defend themselves.”
Pannun further emphasized the Sikh community’s resilience, saying that if Modi sends military forces, both Sikh communities in Indian Punjab and Pakistan will unite to defend their lands.

Earlier, Pannun accused the Modi-led Indian government of using Sikh soldiers as tools in its broader Hindutva agenda against Pakistan.
He urged Sikh personnel in the Indian Army to distance themselves from what he termed “extremist adventures,” and to refuse participation in any military operations planned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi against Pakistan.
"Do not fight against Pakistan. Pakistan is not your enemy," Pannun stated, adding that the country would be a friendly ally for Sikhs once Indian Punjab gains independence.
